From 17 July 2026, AusPost only accepts 10-digit HS Codes for parcels going to the US. Items without a 10-digit HS code will receive an error when attempting label creation:
"HS Tariff Code for destination country US must be 10 numeric characters"
Customers no longer have the option to apply 6 or 8-digit HS Codes on outbound parcels headed for the US from Australia.
If you cannot add the 10 digit tariff code to the products in your store, you will need to edit the HS Tariff Code directly in ReadyToShip.
