Depending on the criteria of your shipment eParcel Contract customers may be presented with either a CN22 or CN23 label.
You do not need to select which label to use, the correct label will be provided by AusPost for you to print via ReadyToShip, based on the information provided in your shipment.
What is a CN22 label?
CN22 labels are an A6 size customs declaration label used for parcels that meet the following criteria:
• Weigh less than 2kg (or less than 5kg for shipments to the US)
• Have a total consignment value less than A$500
• Have dimensions that are a combined total of less than 90cm (L+W+D combined), with the greatest dimension not exceeding 60cm
Which countries accept CN22 labels?
• International Standard items with no signature on delivery: 31 countries listed here
• International Express items: all countries except China
If your order doesn't qualify for a CN22 label, it will default to a CN23 label instead.
What is a CN23 label?
CN23 labels are used for parcels that:
• Weigh between 2kg and 20kg (between 5kg and 20kg for the US)
• Have a maximum length of 105cm
• Do not exceed 140cm girth (girth = (width + height) x 2)
What size labels can be printed via ReadyToShip?
Label sizes depend on the label type. Choose your preferred option in the printer setup section of your Carrier Connection, for International labels. You can only have one option, so if you are using a thermal printer, ensure you are choosing A6 1 per page.
Printer layouts for the CN22 label include:
A4 page – up to 4 x A6 labels per page
Thermal label – 1 x A6 label per page
Printer layouts for the CN23 label include:
A4 page - 1 x A5 label per page
A4 page – up to 4 x A6 labels per page (ideal for A4 label sheets, 4 labels per page)
Thermal label – 1 x A6 label per page
