Some carriers allow you to set an insurance option on consignments. You can set transit cover/ insurance settings for individual orders, or by default for each carrier.
Note: The cover provided will vary with each carrier so check your agreement.
Method 1: Change a single order
Open the order and click Edit Options. Update the details and click save.
Method 2: Change the default setting for Carriers
Go to Settings ⇒ Carriers in ReadyToShip and click on the carrier. If they offer insurance there will be an option called Carrier Insurance. Update the settings and click save.
