You can change any order's shipping address prior to label printing.
To do this, expand the order in ReadyToShip, and edit the address fields. Then print (or update) your label. To expand an order, click the blue drop-down arrow on the right-hand side, then click the pencil icon near the address field to edit and save changes.
Correcting Shipping Label Errors
Errors such as "incorrect address" when creating shipping labels typically occur due to improperly formatted address fields. Follow these steps to resolve such issues:
Ensure that the suburb name is entered in the "Suburb/City" field and not in the street address field.
Use state abbreviations approved by AusPost (e.g., "NSW" instead of "New South Wales").
Verify that the address matches AusPost's recognized spelling conventions (e.g., "Park Holme" instead of "Parkholme"). After correcting the address fields, save the changes and retry label creation.
If you do make an address change, you may wish to add a note or edit the address back in your store's original order. Changes to addresses made directly in ReadyToShip are not applied to the order in your store when we update the tracking. For consistency, it is best to update the shipping address in both ReadyToShip and the connected store to avoid conflicts. When discrepancies occur, prioritize synchronizing data between platforms.
Note: Order addresses that are modified in your store will not be imported by ReadyToShip, as ReadyToShip does not get notified when these changes are made. It is important to change any shipping address in ReadyToShip.
