Australia Post has partnered with Zonos to provide Verified Accounts for all Australia Post merchants.
You will need a Zonos Verified Account for each Australia Post account you have. For example:
If you have a MyPost Business account and an eParcel account, you will need one Verified Account for each.
If you have multiple eParcel accounts, each will require its own Verified Account.
Getting Set Up
It is important to set up your Zonos Verified Account and link your Australia Post account in preparation for US shipment compliance.
You can do this via:
The link sent by Australia Post in email notices to business customers, or
The Zonos Australia Post referral page:

ReadyToShip
Your use of ReadyToShip is unaffected by Zonos.
There is no need to link Zonos to the app.
Product Data Requirements
To successfully generate shipping labels for US orders, you must ensure your products include:
HS Tariff Codes: You can use either the 6-digit, 8-digit or 10-digit HS tariff code, but it is your responsibility to ensure you are using the correct code.
Country of Origin (COO): where your product was made, not where it is shipping from.
Item Weights: Include individual weights for each item
Accurate Goods Description: Must be clear and specific. Vague descriptions can result in delays or rejection—even if the tariff code is correct.
If your store platform supports this, add the information there (e.g. Shopify, Neto, Magento).
If not, you can add these details directly in ReadyToShip.
Duties & Taxes
Make sure your store is configured to:
Collect duties and taxes on US orders
Check your store settings to confirm this is enabled.
Checklist
Before shipping to the US, confirm:
All Australia Post accounts are connected to Zonos
All customs information is added to products in your store, or add in ReadyToShip directly.
Your store is set up to collect duties on US purchases
Failure to provide complete and accurate information will lead to customs delays and returned shipments.
