DirectFreight Express: Reprinting a Label

The order has changed, or the label was lost or damaged.

Written by Meegan

If an order has changed, or the original label is lost or damaged, you can generate a new label—provided it’s done on the same day.

⚠️ Important

DirectFreight Express labels are automatically manifested at 6:30pm daily.
You can only reprint or regenerate a label before 6:30pm on the same day it was first created.

Step 1: Delete the Original Label

Before creating a new label, you must remove the existing one:

  1. Expand the order.

  2. Click Delete Consignment.

This will:

  • Remove the consignment from ReadyToShip

  • Delete it from the DirectFreight Express system

Step 2: Update Order Details (if required)

If anything has changed (e.g. weight, dimensions):

  1. Edit the order details as needed

  2. Select the order

  3. Click Print Labels

Step 3: Choose Reprint or Update

A prompt will appear with two options:

  • Update → Use this if you made changes to the order (recommended)

  • Reprint → Use this if nothing has changed and you just need another copy

⚠️ Important Reminder

Always discard the original label and attach the new label to the parcel.
