ReadyToShip doesn't currently support splitting an order into separate orders, or partial fulfilment of single orders.
If you use Shopify, and items in that order are fulfilled from different inventory locations, then ReadyToShip will respect those locations when creating a fulfilment (but ReadyToShip can only fulfil all items in an order at once)
Suppose you need to ship/fulfil line items in an order at different times. In that case, you could process the order manually in your carrier account, or split the order in your store/marketplace account. The process differs depending on the store platform you use.
You may be able to edit the existing order, leaving the items you can fulfil in that order and creating a new order for the remaining items that will ship later. The new orders will then be imported separately into ReadyToShip.
If you process orders outside of ReadyToShip or edit/cancel existing orders, they may turn red to alert you that changes have been made.
Note: We do not import orders that have been split in Shopify using their "split fulfilment" option.
There are Shopify order editing apps available that we can support, or you can follow the suggestion listed above to edit/split the order into two separate orders each with their own order number.
