How to Reset a DHL Express Order

For when you need to cancel/delete and recreate a label.

Good news! DHL consignments are not required to be deleted in DHL Express; the consignment will not become active and you will not be charged until it is scanned by a driver and enters the DHL Network.

Therefore, if you need to make changes, you can:

  • Select your order

  • Make and save any changes

  • Click "Print Labels"

  • You will be prompted to Update or Reprint. Choose "Update"

  • Check your label includes the updated details

  • Discard any old unused labels
    ​


To ensure the right tracking number is used, discard old labels. Every time a label is changed or updated, it must be reprinted and the parcel relabelled with the newest label, as the old one then becomes unusable, and the parcels may be returned.
