If you regularly update product details manually in ReadyToShip, you can save these values so they are automatically reused the next time the same product is imported.
This is useful when your store does not provide complete product information, or when you want ReadyToShip to use your preferred values instead of those imported from your ecommerce platform.
What can be cached?
ReadyToShip can save the following product attributes:
Weight
Length
Width
Height
Warehouse Location
Country of Origin
Goods Description
Once enabled, these values are remembered for each product and reused automatically.
Enable cached values
Go to Settings > Stores.
Edit your store.
Locate the Prioritise Cached Values setting.
Select the product attributes you want ReadyToShip to remember.
You can choose as many attributes as required.
When an attribute is enabled, ReadyToShip will always use the locally cached value if one exists. If no cached value has been saved for a product, the imported value from your store will be used instead.
Managing the Item Cache
To view or edit your cached product information:
Go to Settings > Item Cache.
From here you can:
Search for products by SKU or Title (partial matches are supported).
Edit any cached value by clicking directly into the field.
Delete individual cached entries if they are no longer required.
Note: Changes are saved automatically as you edit them. There is no Save button.
Clearing the Item Cache
If you need to remove all cached product data from ReadyToShip, please contact our Support Team using the Live Chat bubble within the app. We can clear the cache for you.
