You can sort pick lists and invoices so that they appear in a more useful order.
For example, sort by warehouse location to save some legwork in the picking process. Or you could sort them by order date to make sure the oldest orders go out first.
This is also the order in which we will send consignments to the carrier, so it will usually define the order in which the labels are printed (depending on the carrier).
Sort Orders
You can set the field to sort by:
Order Date
Order ID
Warehouse Location
SKU
Customer Last Name
State
Go to Settings > Carriers, click on the blue cog icon for your chosen carrier, then click Settings and choose your preference from the Sort Orders By list.
Sort items within an order
You can further sort the items within the Order by:
SKU
Title
Warehouse Location
Go to Settings > Carriers, click on the blue cog icon for your chosen carrier, then click Settings and choose your preference from the Sort Order Items By list.
Note: Print order is not affected by changing the sort order in the tab for the shipping run - that is just for displaying them. Printouts and exports are always sorted in the order you select in the Carrier settings.
