What do do when you get an Unexpected Exception error when trying to print labels.

If you receive an "UNEXPECTED_EXCEPTION" error while trying to print labels, it’s typically due to one of the following reasons.

Cause 1: Carrier API under high load

This error can occur when the carrier’s API is experiencing high traffic or temporary instability.

What to do:

  • Wait a few minutes

  • Try printing the labels again

Cause 2: Missing Package on an order

The error may also occur if one or more orders do not have a Package assigned.

What to do:

  1. Review the orders you’re trying to print labels for

  2. Identify any orders without a Package assigned

  3. Assign a Package to those orders

  4. Retry printing your labels

Why a Package might be missing

In some cases, a Package may not be assigned due to:

  • A delay during order import

  • A temporary connectivity issue

  • You have removed it

Still not working?

If all orders have Packages assigned and you’re still seeing the error, wait a few minutes and try again.
